Job Description

As an Internal Medicine Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosis: Identify physiological disorders and diseases in patients.
• Prescription: Prescribe medications and treatment plans for various conditions.
• Referrals: Refer patients for surgical interventions as necessary.
• Treatment: Provide care for various physiological disorders and diseases.
• Investigation: Examine structural and functional changes caused by diseases, including their nature and development.
• Consultation: Act as a consultant to other physicians for complex cases.
• Diagnostics: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the best treatment.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in the English language is essential.
• A degree in optometry, veterinary medicine, dentistry, or medicine is required.
• A minimum of one to two years of experience in a related field is preferred.
• Must hold a Licentiate from the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and be licensed by provincial or territorial authorities.
