Great news for UAE travelers! India has enhanced its Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) service by adding Cochin, Calicut, and Ahmedabad to the list of accessible airports. Now available at nine airports, this service enables eligible UAE nationals to stay in India for up to 60 days for tourism, business, or medical purposes.

New Developments in Visa-on-Arrival Access

This recent change simplifies travel to India for UAE citizens. Starting this week, individuals from the UAE can now obtain a VoA at these new locations:

Cochin
Calicut
Ahmedabad

This expansion, along with existing VoA services in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, is expected to significantly boost UAE tourism, business, medical visits, and various conferences.

Eligibility for Visa-On-Arrival

Important Restrictions

UAE nationals should note that those with parents or grandparents born in Pakistan, or who are permanent residents there, cannot apply for this Visa-on-Arrival.

Visa Fees

The VoA costs ₹2,000 per person, including children. Payment can be made in Indian rupees or an equivalent foreign currency. UAE nationals can utilize this service multiple times throughout the year.
