“I’ll ask all my fans to hold their peace” – Stonebwoy on his YEA Nomination

Ghanaian dancehall/reggae artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has been nominated for an award at the 2020 Youth Excellence Awards and has asked his fans to save their money instead of voting for him.

The artiste was nominated in the Youth Leader of the Year category together with Pastor Brian Amoateng, Farouk Khailann, Dr Kofi Amoa-Abban, Nana Kwame Bediako, and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.

Stonebwoy in a post sighted by NewsNowGh, shared a flyer of his nomination and then asked his fans to hold their peace.

According to the Dancehall act, he does not need to emerge the highest voter in order to win his category.

To this, he has advised that his fans should save their monies as Christmas is just around the corner and it’s been a rough year.

He, however, appreciated the nomination which is an honour for him to be with such great personalities in the same category.

Stonebwoy tweeted: “To be recognized amongst these GIANTS is a GREAT HONOR. I do not need to emerge the highest Voter To win This Category… I’ll ask all my fans to hold their peace the little token that you have save it Christmas is coming it’s been a rough year.”
