- Job Title: I.T. Support Staff
- location: Head Office, Nsawam

Brief Overview
The I.T. Support staff is responsible for the maintenance of computers and network systems, provision of technical support, setting up and managing company ad campaigns, managing social media handles and ensuring the smooth running of systems and hardware. S/he shall also take up duties assigned by the Head of I.T. that may be assigned from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the company. S/he shall also work with the marketing department to promote company websites and products.
Duties
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Render technical support, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- Manage company Social media accounts
- Design Social media campaigns and help promote on company handles
- Work hand-in-hand with the marketing department to promote the company’s websites and handles
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment
- Conduct research into good I.T. practices to boost company presence in modern day business trends
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of I.T. Department
- Report on regular basis to the head of the iT department
Requirements, Skills and Abilities
You’ll need to show evidence of the following:
- Ability to think logically
- Good knowledge of software life-cycle and operating system functionalities
- In-depth knowledge in Microsoft, Linux or Cisco technologies.
- Knowledge in web technologies, server management and database administration
- Ability to write/debug computer software in at least one programming language is a plus
- Posses knowledge in .Net (C#/VB), Php, Sql/MySql, Python, and/or Java
- Must have a good understanding in network (LAN/WAN) setups, management, monitoring and general administration
- Posses good graphic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator/CorelDraw)
- Be fluent in the use of Social Media Marketing tools and strategies
- Must be able to setup, monitor, evaluate, and monetize social media campaigns
- Possess skills in setting up and managing google ads campaigns
- Must be very good at content management for websites, blogs, and social media handles
- Must be willing to work long hours; i.e. overtimes, weekends and/or holidays
- Ability to work well in a team
- Knowledgeable in remote access routines with team members
- excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish problem sources is and render solutions
- Must posses very good problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize workloads
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Must posses good communication and writing skills
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and still deliver same within time
- Having a good knowledge in publicity and marketing is a plus
- Must be Polite, Honest and courteous
- Ability to work within time
- Should be very smart, creative and good at formulating ideas
- Ability to handle pressure on busy days.
Education + Experience
- A Bachelor Degree in Information Communication Technologies from a recognized institution.
- A year or more experience working in related I.T. fields. (National Service included)
- A professional certificate in any I.T. related field is a plus
