This is how to save an Instagram video into your Collection.
- First, launch the Instagram app
- Next, search for the preferred video or post you want to save. If it is on another user’s page, you’ll have to use the search button to search for the user’s account and find the particular video.
- Next, press the bookmark icon at the bottom right of the post. It is a three-dot arranged vertically.
- Afterwards, from the drop-down options, select “Save” to add the video to your Collection folder.
Additionally, you can also save Instagram videos directly to your phone’s camera roll. Below is an instructional guide on how to do that. Note that this feature doesn’t save someone’s Instagram video, but rather, those which you personally take using the Instagram feed camera.
- First of all, you need to open or launch the Instagram app on your phone
- Next, you will have to tap the icon with your profile picture. You can locate this at the bottom right side of the screen.
- At the top right side of the screen, tap on the three horizontal lines there.
- Then, select “settings”, which is the first option on the drop-down list that will pop up
- On the settings menu, locate the option “ Account” and navigate through to select the option “Original Photos”. Turn on “Save Original Photos” in order to automatically save all unedited videos which are taken using the Instagram feed camera onto your camera roll.

- First, you’ll need to download the Instake app.
- Next, at the bottom center of the Instake app screen, press the Instagram icon.
- After, log in with your Instagram account details and navigate to find the exact video you want to save on the app.
- Then, press the three horizontal dots located at the top or the post, and select “Copy Link”.
- Next, on the Instake app, press the red arrow located at the bottom right of the screen and select “Repost”. You can choose to repost the video to your story or just save it into your camera roll
