HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR PHONE’S BATTERY LIFE
Today’s smartphones perform a more demanding tasks than in times past. A phone is as useful as its battery life. While many protect their phones by buying protective cases for them, the same cannot be said for the effort used in preserving the lifespan of the battery.
In recent times, the majority of phones use lithium-ion batteries. These batteries make the phone feel light and look sleek. Although lithium-ion batteries have a lot of advantages, one thing is inevitable, their lifespan starts to depreciate with time.
There have been phone chargers that charge fast and offer convenience, however, the phone batteries themselves are not lasting long. That is because every time the lithium-ion battery of your phone is charged and discharges energy, it loses how much charge it can hold. There are some adjustments to improve your phone’s battery life.
1 . KEEP YOUR BATTERY FROM GETTING TO 0% or 100%
Many assume that the best way to keep your phone healthy is by charging it fully and draining all the battery till it’s 0%. But this is a lie, as it rather shortens the lifespan of your lithium battery. Lithium batteries do get worked out if they are charged fully or the battery is completely drained. Therefore the best way to maximize your battery lifespan is by charging it up to 80% and not letting it come below 30%.

2 . AVOID TURNING YOUR LOCATION ON
Turning off your location is an efficient way to maximize your battery’s phone life. Additionally, you should cancel the location permission for apps that do not need it at all times, that way the apps will not be running in the background, and your battery life will be saved.
To do this, go to the settings on your phone, then location and app permission. Here you will know all the apps that have permission to use location. Open an app and select only allow while using this app or don’t allow for apps that do not require the use of the location.

3 . CLOSE APPS RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND
You need to check on the apps that are running in the background and turn off any of the apps that are not in use. If you are going to forcefully close an app, then that means you are not going to open it immediately, because it takes a lot of power to reopen an app than closing it in the background.
4 . REDUCE THE BRIGHTNESS OF YOUR SCREEN
The brightness of your phone can drain the battery of your phone. To conserve your battery’s lifespan, you need to turn the brightness to its lowest. However, you should be able to read from your phone. You can reduce your screen’s brightness by opening Settings then tapping on the display then brightness level to a more comfortable and suitable level.

IN CONCLUSION
There are tons of maximizing your battery’s phone life apart from what has been listed above. The best way to preserve your phone’s battery is by using your battery saver or better using your phone less.
