HOW TO CHECK YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON MTN AIRTELTIGO AND VODAFONE

Sometimes we misplace our Sim card brochure or package  and so we are unable to have access to our sim number. But there is no cause for alarm. There is a way through which you can check your phone number on any network. Below are the ways of checking for your phone number on the three networks: Mtn, AirtelTigo and Vodafone.

CHECKING YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON MTN

1. On your phone, dial the short code*156#.

2. Next, Press enter by placing the call through the same Mtn line.

3. Then select from the list of options, “check my number “. This option is the first option on the list that will pop up.

4. After selecting option 1, the next thing you will see is your phone number. You can write it down somewhere save so you can use it. Note that you can check for this anytime and anywhere.

CHECKING YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON AIRTELTIGO

1. First, dial the short code *505# on your phone.

2. Next, select the fourth option which states: Check my number “. Press send and wait for the response.

3. Next, select the second option from the next list of options that will be displayed.

4. Your AirtelTigo number will afterwards be displayed on your phone screen.

CHECKING YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON VODAFONE

Checking your Vodafone number is quite simply.  It does not involved any long procedure. You just have to dial the short code *127# on your phone. Afterwards,  your Vodafone number will be displayed on your phone screen.

FURTHER THOUGHT ON CHECKING SIM CARD NUMBER

There are other methods you can use to recover or check your phone number.  You can find it on your sim card package or case. You can also phone a friend and ask them to check your number for you on their phone. Note that you will need airtime to phone your friend. In order not to stress yourself,  you can stick to the above method for any network which is quite less stressful.
