How to Calculate Your Points for Australian Skilled Migration

Australia’s Skilled Migration program is intended to allow overseas skilled workers to live and work in Australia. The points-based system is a significant component of this program.

The system assigns points to candidates based on age, educational qualifications, skilled occupation, English language proficiency, and other pertinent criteria. Applicants will be invited to apply for a skilled visa based on their overall number of points earned.

To be invited to apply for a skilled visa, you must score at least 65 points on the points-based test. In this article, you will learn how to get 65 points in this system and compute your points for Australian skilled migration.

How Do You Calculate Your Points for Australian Skilled Immigration?

Important Note

It is important to note that the points in each component are judged using distinct criteria indicated in the immigration guidelines. Therefore, to evaluate your accurate scores and eligibility to apply for a certain immigration program, a technical evaluation is required.

Multiple assessing bodies examine your skills and certifications based on your occupation. As a result, getting a technical assessment from these examining agencies is critical.
