HOW LONG WILL I BE ALLOWED TO STAY IN USA, CANADA, AND CHINA AFTER MY GRADUATION
International education has become a preference in our current world. Some go for it because of the quality of education they can get from it. For others, it is because of the prestige it brings them, and for others the thrill of having a change in environment.
Of the international education systems, tertiary educations make the top of the list. If people are traveling outside their country to another country to study, it is mostly for tertiary education and with that either to do their masters or Ph.D.
United States of America, Canada, and China are part of the top lists of countries that foreigners troop to for their education. It is on record that these countries do offer quality education to meet the desires of the seekers.
AFTER GRADUATION
Graduation from an institution of study means farewell as far as the formal educational relationship with that institution is concerned. One may choose to have other relations with the institution from a different angle and that can be possible.
International students from the aforementioned schools must move out of their schools. This is after they have completed their education.
However, some individuals may want to stay in these countries for other reasons. The question here is how long can a student stay in these countries after studying. This is mostly affected by the policies of the nation.
In the United States of America, one has 60 days to stay in the country after graduation. However, if that individual wants to extend his stay, there are windows of opportunities. In Canada, graduates who have completed a program of at least 8 months have A Post-Graduate Work Permit. And this is valid for the same length of the academic program, up to a minimum of 3 years.
In China, the education visa is valid for 3 months after graduation while the allowed duration of stay is usually 30 days.
