HOTTEST DESTINATION FOR CARE JOBS RIGHT NOW

This article is purposely for individuals with interests or career paths in care jobs and seeking to relocate abroad. The UK has been more or less like a hotspot for carers but in recent times, hasn’t been easy for foreign carers to look up to the UK anymore.

You can apply through one of these programs to move to Canada as a carer.

1. Canada Living Care Program (LCP)

This is for foreign nationals who wish to be employed by Canadian citizens as caretakers, nannies, children, or persons with disabilities. This program provides direct access to permanent residency after 12 months. With this option, you will reside in the home of your employer.

2. Home Child Care Provider

This program or option is to help busy parents watch after their children and may also be required to help out with household duties. This care can be provided either in the employer’s home or the employee’s home. This pilot is open for applicants interested in babysitting, private home caregiver, nanny, parent helper, and foster parents among others.

3. Home Support Worker Provider

This is into caring for senior citizens like people with disabilities and individuals going through rehabilitation. Responsibilities briefly include preparing meals, bathing, changing dressing administering medications, and other routine housekeeping responsibilities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Carer jobs in Canada have great categories for all. Three different categories are available for carers moving to Canada.

• First, a category for carers with no experience
• Next, a category for carers with less than 24 months of experience
• Lastly, a category for carers with more than 24 months of experience

Age Limit: 18 years and above
