Job Duties

Manage and organize histology laboratory operations to support diagnostics, research, and teaching activities effectively.
Prepare and process tissue samples using standard histological techniques while consistently maintaining quality standards.
Provide technical expertise to support veterinary diagnostic services and laboratory-based research projects efficiently.
Support teaching laboratories by assisting with practical sessions and providing guidance to students.
Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and uphold best practices in laboratory management.
Oversee laboratory workflows to ensure efficient use of resources and the timely delivery of results consistently.
Assist in training undergraduate and postgraduate students in histological techniques and laboratory procedures.

Job Requirements

A relevant qualification in biomedical science, histopathology, or a related scientific discipline is required.
Experience working in a histology or laboratory environment with knowledge of tissue processing techniques.
Strong organizational skills to manage laboratory operations and multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to provide technical expertise and support across diagnostics, research, and teaching activities.
Excellent communication skills to interact with students, researchers, and laboratory staff effectively.
