Responsibilities
- Perform roadside landscaping, including clearing brush and removing litter and debris
- Conduct mechanical and hand mowing of roadside vegetation along highways and interstates
- Mow highway medians, interchange areas, and right-of-way sections
- Operate mowing equipment such as tractors, rotary mowers, flail mowers, batwing mowers, and zero-turn mowers
- Use hand mowers and line trimmers around signs, guardrails, mailboxes, bridges, and intersections
- Set up traffic control measures using signs and cones to ensure worksite safety
- Service and maintain equipment, including greasing and sharpening blades
- Drive trucks to transport crews and equipment to and from work locations when required
Requirements
- No minimum education or prior work experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work

- Ability to work in all weather conditions
