Group OMN is seeking to recruit a qualified person for the following position
Position: Head of Account

The position is based in Accra on a Permanent basis.
What will your role be?
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will design, develop, and implement financial and accounting policies and practices, as well as keeping of proper accounting registers and books for cost-effective operations of the Group.
As the Head of Account you will establish robust and consistent data management systems for proper recording and reporting, as well as data sharing. and information flow to efficiently protect, speed and smoothen operational processes.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Implement appropriate financial control practices in line with the Group procedures and rules for departmental expenditure to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Formulate long-term financial planning, with adequate provision for monitoring, evaluation, and roll-over facilities, to guide attainment of operational excellence and GROUP objectives.
- Develop and implement yearly and term budgets with targets and benchmarks for attainment, including cost allocation, to allow for profitable and equitable evaluation of performance of units of the Group.
- Track, monitor and evaluate performance and output of Units and staff to ensure attainment of GROUP’s yearly objective and benchmarks.
- Prepare and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to the General Manager

What kind of profile are we looking for?
- You hold a master’s degree in Accounting / Finance from a recognised university
- Membership of a recognised professional accountancy body e.g. ACCA, ICA, CA (GH.) CPA, ACMA or its equivalent Eight to 10 years’ industry experience of which two or three years must have been in a
