Job Duties

As a Guest Room Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Following Omni’s Moments of Service or Forbes Service standards.
  • Thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Restocking and replacing used items in guest rooms.
  • Communicating the clean status of each room upon completion.
  • Removing room service trays and tables from guest rooms.
  • Organizing and stocking the supply cart to keep it neat.
  • Checking equipment before and after use to ensure it is functional.
  • Responding to hotel guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Reporting damages or maintenance issues to the supervisor or housekeeping coordinator.

Job Requirements

To qualify for the Guest Room Attendant position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Basic English skills to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Previous cleaning experience is required, with hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift 20-25 pounds intermittently and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull a housekeeping supply cart.
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
