Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager

Company Overview: 

We are a top real estate business that builds and manages both residential and commercial properties. We want a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager to join our team and be a key part of making sure our projects are successful.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager, it will be your job to make sure that all of our real estate projects have good cost control and business management. You’ll be in charge of making sure that our jobs are done on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Salary: GH¢15,000 – GH¢25,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking care of all parts of our real estate projects’ cost control and business management.
• Going over project contracts and making sure everyone is doing what they’re supposed to.
• Making cost plans, budgets, and schedules for projects and putting them into action.
• Giving project teams advice and help with cost and business management problems.
• Making and giving reports on how the project is going and how costs are being managed.
• Talking with sellers and contractors to get the best deal for the money.
• Making sure that all money records are correct and current.
• Contributing to the creation of new ideas and plans.

Skills and qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar field.
• At least 10 years of experience in the real estate business in commercial management and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project cost planning, and cost control principles.
• Good at talking to people and negotiating.
• Be able to work both alone and with a group.
• Good planning and attention to detail.
• Able to handle many jobs and priorities at once.
• Know how to use apps and tools for project management.
