- Position: Outdoor Media Business Development & Key Accounts Sales Executive.
- Location: Accra, Ghana
- Reporting to: Ghana General Manager
- Remuneration: Market related salary plus commission.
Full-time career opportunity exists within a leading Outdoor Media, Activations and Digital Marketing company that has been operating across the African continent for 20+ years. We are looking for a deal maker with an established direct client and agency network in Ghana. The individual must possess meticulous presentation abilities and be able to close deals.
Requiring a mature experienced individual who can work sales opportunities whilst developing new strategic sales channels both locally and across the Continent.
The successful candidate will mainly be tasked with managing all sales and services provided to clients on a local & international basis by ensuring that all campaigns deliver end results which meets organizational and client objectives.
Minimum requirements:
- Sales and Marketing diploma or relevant degree.
- This role is mainly focused on Outdoor Sales.
- Experienced in the industry and a solid network in Outdoor media is required, shortlisted candidates will be tested on this.
- Must be fully Computer Literate in MS Office, Email, MSWord, MS Excel, PowerPoint. Training will be administered on our internal management system.
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in advertising and client services in the Media industry.
- Pan-Africa experience would be an advantage.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work in a pressurized environment.
- Able to achieve set budgets and benchmarks.
- Must have strong understanding and experience in Outdoor Media environment having worked with both client direct and media agencies. Digital marketing knowledge and experience is a bonus.
- Must have excellent presentation skills.
- Must have own reliable transport.
- Ability to travel both locally and abroad as and when required.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Identify and create new business opportunities through cold calling and networking activities.
- Promote Global Out of Home services and products across africa to key agencies and direct clients.
- Keep abreast of client current & future activities.
- Keep abreast of competitor activity.
- Obtain client briefs direct & through media buying agencies
- Ensure thorough understanding of all clients brief.
- Enhance client requirements, where necessary.
- Hold “brain storming” session with relevant stakeholders to obtain maximum input/information and expert advice for preparation of proposal i.e., innovative ideas, resources required, market trends etc.
- Compile accurate proposals for submission to clients and/or media buying agencies
- Develop detailed chase lists for campaign based on client briefs received.
- Review and revise proposals with relevant stakeholders before submission to client and/or media buying agencies.
- Service existing clients and source new leads
- Solicit business through telephone calls, e-mails and most important through face-to-face communication.
- Strong Communication and organizational skills to include cost estimates, contracts, and relevant information to clients
- Attend industry events and source leads
- Be able to identify new opportunities and implement new strategies
- Monitor and analyze Industry trends and opportunities
- Establish and manage client relationships
- Provide sales reports on a weekly basis
- Ensure all sales contracts are signed and all relevant documentation is completed
- Perform all tasks relating to marketing, promoting, selling, administration and client service.
