The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is a public-benefit federal corporation that works in over 100 countries throughout the world. We help governmental and private sector clients in a wide range of areas, including economic development and jobs, energy and the environment, and peace and security. Our operations are divided into three key areas: Energy and Climate (renewable energy and energy efficiency), Training and Sustainable Growth (for decent jobs), and Peaceful and Inclusive Societies (good governance).
GIZ Ghana is looking for qualified, experienced, and professional individuals to occupy the following positions.
1. Junior Technical Advisor (Policy)
Requirement
- A bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration/policy, development studies, statistics, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience is required.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as strong writing abilities.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Team, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of the English language is required, as is a working grasp of French.
- Strong team orientation, cooperation, and negotiation abilities, as well as the ability to operate under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of quantitative/qualitative analysis, as well as the ability to write structured reports.
- Knowledge of GIZ processes is advantageous.
2. Junior Advisor (Matching Grant Fund)
- A bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration/policy, development studies, statistics, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience is required.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as strong writing abilities.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Team, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of the English language is required, as is a working grasp of French.
