POSITION: Seed Processing Supervisor

Ghana Sumantra Ltd is seeking a dedicated Processing Supervisor to lead our seed processing operations. This role is central to overseeing and coordinating all activities involved in producing high quality, certified oil palm seeds. You will ensure all outputs meet stringent company standards while collaborating closely with the production team to achieve set targets and drive continuous operational improvement.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities

You will provide direct supervision to ensure efficiency, quality, and team development within the processing section.

Organize and supervise the daily activities of the Processing Team to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
Ensure all seed processing records are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly and monthly reports detailing processed seed volumes and all section activities.
Maximize seed yield from each bunch by maintaining excellent control throughout all processing stages. Furthermore, you must keep seed breakage and infection rates consistently below five percent.
Ensure the continuous training and skills development of all Processors according to the approved annual training schedule.
Actively participate in implementing, maintaining, and improving the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Develop, maintain, and lead a highly motivated processing team committed to ongoing performance improvement.
Oversee the proper maintenance of all seed processing equipment and machinery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science or a closely related field.
Possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a supervisory role, preferably within an agricultural or processing environment.
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting and data management.
Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively manage and develop a team.
