Ghanaian media personality, Efia Odo has asserted that with all the fame, some artistes still struggle.
In a post spotted by NewsNowGh on Efia Odo’s twitter handle, she stated that someone working with McDonalds in America makes more money than most celebs in Ghana. She talked about the kind of economic system in our part of the world. Even though people are famous enough to be called celebs, some still struggle when it comes to finances.
The actress wished that the leaders in position be fired for new-minded people to be hired for work.
She stated that we need a reset button in the country.
In other posts, she compared the monthly salaries of some workers in the country and stated that if one is not from a wealthy home or a fraudster, the system ends up frustrating.
She tweeted:
“Somebody working in McDonalds in America makes more money than most of us celebs in Ghana. Ghana fame brings no money! All this fame and Artists are struggling. The people in position all need to be fired and new age minded people need to be hired. We need a reset button !”
“There’s no future for us, on God. How much do teachers, bankers, doctors make in Ghana?? It’s either you come from a good home or you’re doing fraud. Our structure in every aspect is horrible!”
