Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants need to satisfy the subsequent requirements:

  • Be a national of one of the 12 qualifying West African nations: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Upper Division or equivalent) in a pertinent area.
  • Possess at least an intermediate proficiency in the English language.
  • Other ECOWAS member nations might be accepted as self-financed students, depending on availability.

  • WASSCE or SSCE Qualification (for English-speaking nations).
