About Role

The General Practitioner will deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients registered at the practice. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality primary healthcare services to registered patients
  • Conduct in-person, telephone, and video consultations with patients
  • Provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management
  • Perform clinical administration, including reviewing test results and correspondence
  • Participate in quality improvement programs such as the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF)
  • Contribute to practice governance activities and clinical audits
  • Provide safeguarding leadership and medical reports where required
  • Conduct home visits and participate in on-call clinical duties when necessary
  • Collaborate with clinical leads and practice management teams to improve service delivery

Requirements

  • Current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)

  • Knowledge of NHS clinical frameworks such as QOF, DES, LCS, and CQUINs
  • Familiarity with clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMIS Web preferred
