GENERAL MANAGER

Reporting directly to Managing Director you are expected to oversee all relevant business operations, people and ventures, ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from top down and maintained at all times.

The General manager must focus on the agency’s growth, profits and increase shareholder’s return, and keep up to date of commercial and legal developments.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementing company policy and any changes to it and leading the Agency and ensuring that all employees buy into the Company vision
  • Setting the overall strategic direction of the Agency alongside the MD and the board.
  • Support the Financial Manager by providing relevant financial information as and when required
  • Representing the company at events, maintaining their excellent reputation
  • Delegating responsibilities and supervising work of other members of the team, providing work strategically carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance and to manage staff with care, respect and consideration at all times in accordance with the company’s values
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with other partners and manage the day-to-day business affairs
  • Lead Agency pitches to prospective clients and grow agency top line revenue.
  • Scan for marketing opportunity and participate in tenders to attract high value agency projects
  • Manage every communication element of advertising and marketing including creative, copy, layouts and production.
  • Manage service providers, suppliers and onsite requirements, Meticulously run day to day operations of a full service Integrated Ad Agency, supervise the
    team’s output and troubleshoot problems and issues.
  • Manage the Finance Strategy by coordinating overall budget process, annual budget plan and taking responsibility for achieving the agreed profitability and monthly targets projection to rapidly grow company’s exposure to both corporate and government sector.
  • Manage the marketing department, finance, outdoor, creative and overseeing all
  • Manage the Marketing Strategy by image building corporate communications and brand activities.
  • Oversee job cards, daily work sheets, all design and creative contents
  • Approve all peripherals being created for events and external clients
  • Develop and implement ideas to ensure the smooth operation of the company

REQUIREMENT

  • To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following skills and attributes:
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 6 to 10 years years of having managed a profitable, commercially driven agency with advertising and marketing experience in the areas of lead generation, collateral development, brand building and online advertising
  • Ability to manage a team to hit aggressive deadlines with high quality work
  • Exceptional oral, written communication skills, excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Familiar in Microsoft office applications and excellence in Microsoft excel.
