About the Role

As a Founding AI Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and building the platform’s core semantic intelligence layer. This is a full-time, on-site position in London with no remote option. You will work closely with the founders to shape early architecture decisions, own AI systems from concept to production, and deliver features that directly support real-world business decisions in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Build retrieval systems that combine structured and unstructured data sources.
Design and implement knowledge representations, including vector indexes and knowledge graphs.
Develop multi-step, agentic workflows with strong guarantees around context, tools, and outputs.
Create scalable pipelines for ingesting, structuring, and maintaining external and internal datasets.
Own AI systems end-to-end, from initial design through production deployment and iteration.
Collaborate directly with the founding team to make key technical and product decisions.

Technologies You’ll Work With

The technical stack includes:

Python and modern LLM-based architectures
Vector databases and knowledge graphs
Agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph
A modern product stack including React, TypeScript, Supabase, and AWS

Qualifications
