The FoodBioSystems Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) is providing fully funded four-year PhD studentships in the UK across a range of fields, including farmed animal health and welfare, food safety, lifelong health, sustainable agriculture, precision technologies, and others. The program aims to provide postgraduate researchers with the advanced skills and knowledge necessary to address challenges in the agri-food sector.
During your four years of registration, you will be eligible for a tax-free stipend (salary) that will allow you to participate in the DTP training program, finish your research, and submit your thesis. In 2024–25, the stipend will be £19,237 or £21,237 for a Brunel University studentship, fixed by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). The annual salary rise is decided by UKRI.
For those with a burning passion for studies that transform agriculture into a sustainable food system, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you.
