FIVE AFRICAN COUNTRIES WITH MORE AIRPORTS

To travel by air is a norm these days. More private-owned jets and private air transport companies are being established to meet people’s need to travel by air. There is international travel and local travel in almost every country. This makes the need for airports very necessary in a country.

Airports are specially built to harbor planes of different kinds. An airport may be designed specifically for the kind of service it will render. There are military airports designed to harbor military aircraft and thus the entire area may be given to military responses and may not be conducive for civilian activities. The opposite is true for civilian airports.

However, every airport is safe for a plane to land in case of emergency. Airports come with special features like a watchtower and runways. The watchtower guards outgoing and incoming planes into the airports whereas the runway gives the plane the grounds to move and take off.
