ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a self-motivated Legal assistant to ensure the smooth running of the office and provide support for our compliance department. You will provide a broad spectrum of services which includes, counseling of international students and compliance with both the university regulations and Australian immigration laws.
POSITION: Legal Assistant
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to our compliance team and enhance office effectiveness
- Handle communication with clients, universities. Etc
- Prepare student case file case
- Conduct investigations into student documentations to conduct their authenticity
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain contact lists
- Monitor application and visa deadlines
Skills
- Proven working experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary
- Familiarity with Australian migration law.
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of an office
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of education agency software
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
- Diploma or Bachelor of law
