Role Overview
As the Front Office & Administrative Assistant, you will create outstanding first impressions while ensuring smooth daily office operations. You will manage front desk activities, coordinate administrative tasks, and provide essential support to our production and editorial teams. This position requires a proactive approach to office management and a genuine passion for media and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office Management
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them to appropriate personnel
- Answer and route incoming calls with professional courtesy
- Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Administrative Support
- Manage office correspondence and internal communications
- Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments for staff members
- Maintain and organize office records and filing systems
- Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed
Operational Coordination
- Perform clerical tasks including transcription, faxing, and data entry
- Operate and maintain office equipment such as printers and fax machines
- Support various departments with administrative tasks as required
- Assist with special projects and station events when necessary
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Requirements:
- HND or Diploma in Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience in front desk, reception, or administrative roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Professional appearance and positive customer service attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with office equipment operation and maintenance
- Background in media or broadcasting environments
- Additional language skills relevant to our bilingual broadcasting
