Job Description

  • Under general supervision, designs Testing and Subsea (TSS) jobs, evaluates reservoirs, helps with wells, and analyzes jobs after they are done for customers in a certain area.
  • Gives technical and operational advice to customers outside the company in a professional way.
  • Builds and keeps personal relationships with technical customers and gives support to less experienced staff from a technical expert’s point of view.
  • Responsible for planning, doing the job, analyzing how well it went, and the overall performance of company assets on site.
  • May do important jobs where the quality of service or the difficulty of the job could be a problem.
  • May keep track of work schedules and help with PPRs.
  • Works with customers on technical issues, such as reviewing their performance and making process improvements to better meet their needs.
  • May work with the local Business Development staff to make sure customers are up-to-date on technology.
  • May start, review, and close Technology Correction, Prevention, and Improvement (CPI)s.
  • This is the position with the most responsibility for how the job gets done and how well it does overall.
  • In charge of the company’s property at the site.
  • In a service center, this job is to be a mentor to the Associate Field Professionals (AFPs) and Field Professionals (FPs).

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, geology, or math is required, along with at least 6 years of experience in field operations, including 4 years of experience testing wells in the field.
  • Assignments need enough professional experience to make sure that the person is as good as a fully trained professional.
  • Must be able to do things on their own.
