Job Purpose

Esoko is changing how businesses deal with small-scale farmers, suppliers, and customers by using mobile and web innovations in a smart way. The primary job of the QA Engineer will be to test the quality of software.

Responsibilities

Work with the test team to create manual test plans that cover all aspects of testing, such as functional, structural, regression, and system testing.
Check the product design documentation to make sure that the stated requirements are correct, clear, and able to be checked.
During the software development life cycle, find and talk about risks as soon as possible.
Take part in meetings for risk management and product review.
Using product documentation and best QA practices, come up with test scenarios and test cases.
Test software, write down data and results, and send this information to the software developers so they can take the right steps.
Give feedback on the current testing methods, tools, and processes, if necessary.
Offer to take the lead in the QA department.
Maintain both technical and non-technical test documentation in their own area of responsibility.

Skills or Experience Needed

Bachelor’s degrees in relevant field
At least three years of professional testing
A college degree and relevant work experience are required.
Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Quick Books skills
Proactive
Ability to design test scenarios
Independent, self-starting, trustworthy, and careful
Process-driven, you don’t always think that the end justifies the means.
Passionate about working in a business that makes a big difference in the world.
Enthusiastic about new technology
Use a consultative approach to help clients solve problems.
Able to motivate and advocate both inside and outside of the company.
Proven ability to lead engineering teams based on trust, credibility, and respect.
