At Eni, we are seeking an Instrument Automation Specialist to join Eni Ghana in Accra, Ghana. You will be overseeing a group of experts performing instrumentation maintenance tasks as scheduled to guarantee optimal equipment availability and accuracy, while adhering to all internal maintenance protocols, best practices, and safety standards. You will oversee the effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of executing instrumentation maintenance activities and the quality and technical integrity of the maintenance work carried out.

Key Duties
- Carry out comprehensive scheduling of instrument maintenance tasks in alignment with the maintenance plan, workload, personnel availability, company protocols, and priorities established by the maintenance operations superintendent.
- Verify the availability of materials and confirm their removal.
- Assign work orders to performers.
- Oversee maintenance technicians.
- Ensure the implementation of the appropriate HSEQ procedures while conducting maintenance tasks.
- Approve work feedback and finalize work orders in the maintenance database.
- Review and oversee the instrument tasks performed by contractors and approve them once finished.
- Create proposals for enhancing maintenance.
- Draft specifications for acquiring spare parts and evaluating the technical proposals.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Vocational diploma.
- Broad expertise in the oil and gas sector.
- Significant experience in maintaining instrumentation.
- Career education in Instrumentation & Control Technology, Electrical & Electronics Technology, Process Control & Instrumentation, along with maintenance skill courses.
- Proficiency in English.
- Production Operations: Maintenance Oversight, Predictive Upkeep, Operations/Maintenance Consultation.
- Maintenance Activities: Telecommunications Upkeep, Instrumentation Upkeep, Knowledge of Troubleshooting Methods.
- Maintenance Engineering: CMMS Tasks, Maintenance Engineering, Maintenance System Review, Maintenance Consultation during Project Phase.
- Adherence: Local/National and Global Standards and Regulations.
- Familiarity with DCS, PLCs, SCADA systems, and their connection with field instruments.
- Skill in analyzing technical problems and applying efficient maintenance strategies.
- Exhibit robust problem-solving capabilities, adaptability, an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent listening and communication skills, and expertise in managing and developing personnel.
