Job Title: Content Moderator
We want someone who is curious and pays attention to details to join the Legal Removals team. This is a full-time job as a vendor for Vaco at a worldwide company with a great place to work.
Our team looks at and reviews content that might break copyright laws across a number of products. Our goal is to answer the complainants quickly and in a professional way, as well as to evaluate the content according to the rules set by our client.
This is a great way to start your career if you like to learn new things all the time and make quick decisions based on policy. You’ll be in charge of a group of hardworking people who are proactive, efficient, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Handle complaints quickly
- Respond to both internal and external questions while following policy and the law.
- Review user complaints about different types of media that may contain sexually explicit content in an unbiased way.
- Meet volume and quality expectations all the time.
- In a changing environment, take in feedback and use what you’ve learned.
- When necessary, escalate problems.
- Work with peers in different fields
- Keep your professionalism and privacy
Minimum Qualifications:
- Comfortable reading and clear information
- B.A. or B.S. degree or 2 years of experience in the field
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and get things done right
- Keen attention to detail
- Flexible and able to handle changing tasks
- Ability to use the Internet and proprietary tools intuitively
- Ability to work on your own
- Experience reviewing content and/or following rules is a plus.
