POSITION: Facility Assistant – National Service

Position Summary
AmaliTech is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Facility Assistant to aid in the daily operations and upkeep of our office facilities. The perfect candidate will collaborate with the Facility Manager to guarantee our areas are safe, functional, and properly maintained, fostering a productive and pleasant atmosphere for all staff.
Major Duties
- Help in arranging and organizing regular maintenance and urgent repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect problems like broken equipment or safety risks.
- Coordinate with service providers (such as cleaning, security, and maintenance teams) to guarantee exceptional service delivery.
- Monitor and oversee the inventory of supplies, furniture, and equipment related to the facility.
- Collaborate with the Facility Manager to organize the acquisition of required items.
- Assist in overseeing utilities to avoid payment delays or service interruptions.
- Help with the execution of energy-saving programs throughout the facilities.
- Manage seating arrangements and help facilitate alterations or reorganizations of workspaces.
- Assist in implementing fire, safety, and first aid training initiatives.
- Make sure that facilities adhere to safety standards and quickly report any incidents.
- Maintain precise documentation of maintenance timetables, supplier agreements, and inventory of assets.
- Help in creating reports and updates regarding facility operations.
Office Location: The candidate will be based at the Accra Office while participating in the National Service Programme.
Qualifications
- HND or BSc in Facility Management, Building Technology, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Skillful in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication and social skills.
- Familiarity with fundamental maintenance and safety procedures is beneficial.
- Focus on precision and anticipatory issue resolution.
