Enterprise Development Officers
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Support training and on-site transfer of requisite technologies to the targeted project beneficiaries in greenhouse vegetable production, nursery management good post-harvest practices, quality systems, market development and business development skills
2) Management and supervision of day-to-day activities of project beneficiaries (Agripreneurs)
3) Provide fertigation Irrigation, trellis pruning, spraying regime schedules for project beneficiaries
4) Collection of relevant data on production activities and submitting progress reports
5) Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environment
measures
6) Liaise with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOTA)
Extension Staffs and other stakeholders within the District of operation
7) Perform any other duty assigned to you by the Executive
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. BA/BSc/HND/Diploma from ATVET in Engineering, Marketing or related fields
Agriculture,
2. Experience in Agriculture, agro-Industry, agribusiness or
related activities
3. Experience in Marketing and Entrepreneurship 4. Knowledge in using MS Windows and MS Office
packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, information management systems
Other
1. Required language: English and one local language
2. Travel Must be willing to travel up to 30% 3. Must be willing to be posted to any part areas of time

1. Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with ability to make sound judgment.
2. Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to write reports Proactive, results oriented, and service oriented
