Job Duties

The role of Engine Inspector encompasses a range of responsibilities, including:

Conducting hands-on inspections of various turbine components.
Ensuring compliance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) manuals and industry standards.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Measuring product dimensions for accuracy and conformity.
Inspecting vendor-repaired parts, tagged for clear dispositioning.
Performing light repairs, such as blending and de-burring.
Collaborating with the Team Leader to prioritize inspection schedules.
Maintaining an orderly inspection area, adhering to TCT’s quality standards.
Documenting inspection records accurately in coordination with build records.
Contributing to TCT’s Quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture.

Job Requirements

Candidates should meet the following qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years of mechanical inspection experience is crucial.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and industry specifications.
Ability to measure with imperial and metric tools like micrometers and calipers.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Previous experience in inspecting gas turbines or aircraft components is desirable.
Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean principles is a plus.
Completion of a criminal background check and medical drug test is mandatory.
