The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) is a police unit that is charged  to fight against armed robbery. But of late these officers have been seen to be harassing and brutalizing people. They have lost their purpose as said by many because they have been seen in recent times to be wrongly assaulting and brutalizing some citizens of Nigeria.
