Sponsorship Offer
These ECU research scholarships offer a complete funding solution consisting of full tuition fee coverage and a substantial stipend of $35,000 each year, disbursed bi-weekly through EFT. International students receive a partial refund of Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), whereas domestic students might qualify for a relocation grant. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must have obtained (or be pending approval of) an offer for a PhD, Integrated PhD, or Master’s by Research course at ECU. Candidates are required to obtain supervisor approval for their research project. Nonetheless, you do not qualify if:
- You have been awarded an AusAID or Australia Award scholarship within the last two years.
- You do not have supervisor approval for your suggested project.
- The start date of your program is after 8 May 2026 (for PhD) or after Semester 1, 2026 (for Integrated PhD or Masters by research).
- Your earnings surpass 75% of the ECU RTP stipend baseline rate.
Application Timeline
Research scholarship applications at Edith Cowan University will be available from 3 September 2025 until 16 October 2025. All entries must be submitted during this period, and only those who have obtained or applied for ECU admission will be eligible. Conditional offers might be given to applicants who are still waiting for final admission approval at the point of ranking.
