Job Title: ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

At ECOM West Africa, there is a job ad. They want to hire a person to help with accounting. This job is in the Finance Department, and the person in it will be responsible for entering daily accounting data, making vouchers, filling all records, and helping the Finance team with day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• All accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions are recorded every day.
• Finance postings are closed every day.
• Then, Make sure that all open transactions in customer and supplier accounts are assigned correctly.
• Right on time and with accuracy
• Also, Checking on interests and retirement in SAP
• Sending staff and making them answer for their debts and retirements.
• Moreover, Documents must be filed correctly according to the agreed-upon process.
• Transactions must have documents attached in SAP.) Giving documents to the line manager for Internal and External Audits.
• WHT return records and WHT certificate records
• Do any other tasks that your line manager gives you.

Education, Prior Work Experience, And Specialised Skills/Knowledge:

• Education, previous work experience, and specialized skills or knowledge:
• Education Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or any other business-related field.

Competencies:

• Booking and MS Office skills (Excel is essential)
• 1-2 years of experience.
• The ability to solve problems and think critically.
• Manages time well and adjusts to new priorities
• Accuracy and care for details
• Team player who gets things done
• Excellent communication skills
