Why is the DTEI Scholarship
The DTEI Scholarship goes beyond recognizing talent; it focuses on developing future leaders in STEaM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).

- Modern Facilities: Operate in well-equipped workshops, a tidy DT design studio, and utilize advanced tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, a four-axis CNC milling machine, and a metal lathe.

Application Requirements
The application procedure aims to showcase your creativity, innovation, and technical curiosity.
Step 1 – Written Submission & Collection of Work
- A brief 350-word contemplation on a product or architectural design that I appreciate, exploring its design, engineering, and innovative attributes.
- Images of your personal projects – drawings, models, prototypes, 3D prints, programmed work, or various technical designs.
Step 2 – Evaluation Workshop & Interview
Candidates who are shortlisted will participate in an engaging design workshop on Thursday, 27 November 2025, which will be followed by an interview with the Department Head.
