Popular Ghanaian disc jockey Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh commonly known as DJ Switch has expressed her unwillingness to endorse or rally behind any political party in this year’s election should they approach her.
In an up-close interview on Gh Page TV’s Celebrity Circle, DJ Switch explained why she would never get involved with anything related to politics. Speaking to JIBSAM, the internationally recognized DJ stated categorically that, she is not into politics. The 11-year-old talented kid outlined that, she is under age and therefore has no business in politics despite the fact that she has the power to influence or change the outcome of the outcome of this year’s election.
DJ Switch is not the first Ghanaian celebrity to avoid getting involved in politics. Weeks ago, dancehall act, Shatta Wale warned all political parties to desist from involving him in their campaigns. Nonetheless, well-known personalities like Rex Omar, Mzbel, Tracy Boakye, Efia Schwarzenegger just to mention a few have declared their supports for some political parties.
During the same interview, she endorsed the Free SHS implemented by the sitting government and further congratulated His Excellency Nana Addo for a good job done especially during this Covid19 era. She also said that all those who won the VGMA awards really deserved it. Concluding, she advised her fans to respect all protocols put in place by the government in order to eradicate the virus.
