Responsibilities

Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service and provide expert advice to referring practices
Support the development of new diagnostic techniques and service innovation
Participate in clinical quality assurance and service improvement initiatives
Contribute to out-of-hours clinical support and specialist supervision
Supervise and train clinical scholars and support their research and board examination preparation
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and contribute to assessments and feedback
Participate in clinical research, scholarship, and publication activities
Represent the service at national and international professional events
Support service promotion, administration, and academic governance activities

Requirements

Veterinary degree registrable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
Completion of a recognised diagnostic imaging residency programme
ECVDI or ACVR Diploma for Grade 8 appointment (or board-eligible for Grade 7)
Postgraduate clinical experience in diagnostic imaging
Evidence of clinical publications and scholarly activity
Strong communication, teamwork, and independent working skills
Ability to deliver specialist-level care in a referral hospital environment
Eligibility to meet UK Skilled Worker visa requirements (if applicable)
