Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service and provide expert advice to referring practices
  • Support the development of new diagnostic techniques and service innovation
  • Participate in clinical quality assurance and service improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to out-of-hours clinical support and specialist supervision
  • Supervise and train clinical scholars and support their research and board examination preparation
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and contribute to assessments and feedback
  • Participate in clinical research, scholarship, and publication activities

  • Support service promotion, administration, and academic governance activities

Requirements

  • Veterinary degree registrable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
  • Completion of a recognised diagnostic imaging residency programme
  • ECVDI or ACVR Diploma for Grade 8 appointment (or board-eligible for Grade 7)
  • Postgraduate clinical experience in diagnostic imaging
  • Evidence of clinical publications and scholarly activity
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and independent working skills
  • Ability to deliver specialist-level care in a referral hospital environment
  • Eligibility to meet UK Skilled Worker visa requirements (if applicable)
