About Role

The DHVL Research Coordinator will play a central role in ensuring the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of digital health and data-driven research projects. You will provide high-quality project coordination, governance support, and administrative oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with funder, legal, and ethical requirements.

Working closely with academic researchers, NHS partners, SMEs, and commercial organisations, you will help manage timelines, resources, reporting, and approvals while supporting funding applications and research governance processes. Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day delivery of a portfolio of DHVL research projects, tracking milestones and deliverables
Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, risk registers, Gantt charts, and status reports
Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with academic, clinical, and commercial partners to ensure smooth communication and scheduling
Ensure compliance with funder, audit, GDPR, and governance requirements
Support preparation, costing, and submission of grant and commercial funding applications
Work with University and NHS governance teams on ethics, approvals, and information governance processes
Organise and support meetings, workshops, and events, following up on actions and outcomes
Provide high-quality administrative and documentation support using standard and bespoke templates
Contribute to continuous improvement of project management tools, systems, and processes

Requirements

Qualification at SCQF Level 8 (or equivalent) or equivalent professional experience in a similar role
Strong understanding of project planning, risk and issue management
Knowledge of UK clinical research legal and ethical frameworks
Experience supporting or coordinating projects in complex or innovation-driven environments
Excellent written, organisational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft 365 and collaborative tools such as SharePoint
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience in digital health, NHS, or academic research environments is an advantage
