International Skilled Worker Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot

This is a pathway by Saskatchewan province in Canada – a Saskatchewan program. This program is a sub-category under the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP). Individuals interested in relocating to Canada on this pathway will reside in Saskatchewan. This program is for skills that are hard to fill and require foreign workers to move to Saskatchewan to fill such roles.

Who can Apply

Workers in eligible, in-demand occupations who are intermediate and low-skilled and who:

  • First and foremost, possess a job offer from Saskatchewan
  • Next, satisfy the requirements for the subcategory
  • Also, intend to stay as a permanent resident in Saskatchewan

Eligibility Requirements

  • Foremost, possess at least one year of recent full-time work experience. In either scenario, the work history does not have to be consecutive.
  • Next, possess a Canadian Linguistic Benchmark (CLB) language grade of at least 4.
  • Also, possess a high school diploma or some equivalent level of education.
  • Additionally, have an offer for a full-time, permanent job in Saskatchewan that has been approved by SINP. You will need a current SINP Job Authorization Letter from your company to prove your eligibility.

Who Cannot Apply

People in Canada who are requesting refugee status from the Canadian government are not eligible to apply.

You might not be qualified if:

  • Most importantly, you did not submit the necessary paperwork together with your application.
  • Also, you failed to provide evidence that you intend to reside and work in Saskatchewan.
  • Lastly, in the application, you knowingly misrepresented yourself, as well as yourself or your representative.

Note: To apply to the SINP, you have no obligation to utilize a representation or consultant for immigration. If you decide to hire a representative, be sure they are a Canadian lawyer in great standing with a state’s legal society or have a license from the Saskatchewan government.

Essential Documents

You must submit your application along with all supporting documentation proving your qualification for SINP nomination. Additionally, you will need these documents to prove:

  • Who you are (identity)
  • Second, work history/experience
  • Next, academic qualifications
  • Lastly, language proficiency

Additionally, the SINP might request additional, not specified, papers.

Applications that are not translated or have missing supporting documentation will be rejected. You will receive a letter requesting a new application if yours is returned.

General Instructions

All records must be legible copies of the original records. You must submit it if it is not in either English or French.
