Responsibilities

QuantCo’s data scientists will discover what it takes to use data to make an impact:

• Choosing the appropriate framework to convert a business query into a statistical issue
• Identifying, merging, and modifying data sources, as well as massive datasets
• Conducting thorough assessments
• Constructing machine learning models and incorporating them into operational business processes to automate big decisions
• Disseminating outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, as well as interpreting and visualizing them.

We are seeking cooperative individuals with superior mathematical skills, as well as:

• A degree in physics, engineering, computer science, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline
• A thorough comprehension of the statistical and mathematical principles underlying the majority of popular machine learning algorithms and a demonstrated interest in causal inference problems, such as A/B testing
• Extensive course projects, a prior research or industry internship, or experience coding and working with data utilizing a variety of tools and languages, including Python (Pandas, XGBoost/LightGBM), R (dplyr, ggplot2), and git
• The capacity to recognize possibilities and answers that others do not
• The high degree of dependability and dedication, excellent harmony between pragmatism and idealism
• German language proficiency for business
