About the Role

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms
Develop and support cloud-based data architectures, primarily on AWS
Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform
Work with large-scale datasets, Big Data technologies, and data modeling practices
Build and optimize SQL and NoSQL data storage and querying solutions
Develop data processing and transformation logic using languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or JavaScript
Integrate and maintain Big Data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Cassandra, or similar technologies
Implement and manage data orchestration workflows (e.g., Airflow)
Ensure data reliability, performance, security, and scalability

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience working as a Data Engineer
Strong experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
Ability to code in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, or JavaScript)
Solid experience designing and implementing data-driven architectures
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with Big Data technologies and data modeling
Good understanding of when and why to use different data storage and processing solutions
Familiarity with Big Data ecosystem tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Cassandra, or similar
