Ghanaian rapper D-Black known in private life as Desmond Blackmore has finally reacted to the controversies surrounding his viral leaked tape some few weeks ago.

An uncompromising video of D-Black and a young lady making love surfaced on the internet and got many people talking. Since the leak, the award-winning rapper has not ever spoken on the matter. This is the very first time he has opened up on the issue.

While speaking with Halifax in an interview on Okay FM, he spoke a little about the incident. He indicated that he has managed to stay out of trouble since he joined the entertainment sector therefore the news was rather unfortunate for his brand. He furthered that he never planned to release any video of that sort to promote “Falaa” song but it was a sheer coincidence. According to him, “Falaa” was released in December last year. He also added that he was planning to release a video clip for his “Falaa” track at the time the tape came out. He chose not to explain into details how the video got out and how he family took it. Moving on, D-Black showed his unhappiness about the fact that people promote the negative sides of artistes instead of their positive sides. He used the Fake UN awards as an example. He explained that, when they got the awards, just a few people talked about it but the moment it turned out to be fake everyone started taking about it. He stressed that the entertainment industry has failed to celebrate those who deserve to be celebrated.
