CZECH REPUBLIC PASSPORT APPLICATION PORTAL
A Czech passport is a form of identification for foreign travel that is given to citizens of the Czech Republic. With 187 countries and territories where Czech citizens can go without a visa or get one when they arrive, the Czech passport is the seventh most mobile in the world.
TYPES OF CZECH REPUBLIC PASSPORT
The various types of Czech Republic passports include the following:

Standard Passport
Passports are frequently sent to citizens of the Czech Republic. Under normal circumstances, a passport’s validity is five or ten years.

Official passport
Government employees and National Diet members receive official passports.

Diplomatic Passport
Members of the ruling dynasty, ambassadors, and top government officials are all granted diplomatic passports.

Emergency Passport
When a Czech Republic diplomacy office is unable to issue device passports, Czechs living abroad are given an emergency passport instead.
PASSPORT VALIDATION PERIOD
Czech passports now have a 10-year validity period and a 5-year validity period for applicants under the age of 15.
CZECH REPUBLIC PASSPORT ELIGIBILITY CRITERION
You can apply for Czech citizenship if you’ve had a valid residency permit in the country for at least five years. If your parents or grandparents were Czech citizens, you can also be eligible for Czech citizenship.
One can only apply for a Czech Republic passport after attaining Czech citizenship.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE PASSPORT APPLICATION PROCESS
The paperwork needed to apply for a new passport is below;

WHERE TO APPLY FOR AN CZECH REPUBLIC PASSPORT
The Czech Republic Embassy or a neighboring Czech Republic Consulate must receive the request for a Czech Republic Identity Certificate in person. Passport requests are then assessed by the Czech Republic Department Of Immigration following the acquisition of a Czech passport.
HOW TO APPLY
- First and foremost, the applicant for a passport emails the embassy at the consulate (telaviv@mzv.cz)
- The applicant further visits the consulate in person and presents all the requisite paperwork once the embassy confirms through email that the record in the Civil Register is accurate.
- The Czech Republic’s central passport authority will also, receive the application in digital mode for further processing when the consular officer scans the applicant’s photograph and fingerprints.
- After that, the passport will be created and sent to the embassy.
- The applicant is finally informed to visit the embassy to pick up the document.
