Job Description
The Creative Director must be highly imaginative and an effective manager of talent. He or She has to balance the concerns and needs of many people: the partners and owners of the ad agency, their clients, the account executives who work directly with clients, and the people who work under them.
He must be heavily involved in the formation of ideas for copy and design from the beginning and may lead brainstorming sessions to get the creative energy flowing.
Key Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and overseeing them to completion.
- Collaborate with account executives to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements.
- Direct and motivate team of Art Director and Graphic Designers to help them use their talents effectively; lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas.
- Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that meet clients’ needs as well as that of the company

- Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team.
- Train and guide subordinates into accomplished professionals
- Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future.
- Develop advertising campaigns for clients.
- Assign projects to individual team members.
- Ensure all projects are on track creatively.
- Work cooperatively with account executives and clients
Required Skills or Experience
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative role.
- Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development.
- Also very creative and may be averse to taking direction.
- A solid background in copywriting or design and Art Direction is a must-have
- Technological savvy: Experience with some of these applications will be an advantage Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, PowerPoint, After Effects, Premier Pro, Cinema 4D and other relevant applications.
- Applicant should have knowledge of motion graphics and some video editing capabilities

- Leadership: Creative directors lead and inspire a team of people who are also very creative and may be averse to taking direction.
- Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
- BSc/BA in advertising, fine art, design. MSc/MA, or any relevant field; will be considered an asset
