COVID-19 || Ghana records worse hit of 921 new cases, total now 4,012

From a previous total case count of 3,091, Ghana now has new cases of a whooping 921 cases, which the first of its kind in Ghana’s data. The total case count is now at 4,021.

The Ghana Health Service reveal that this worse rise is an addition of recorded cases from an industrial facillity in the country. According to them, “Over 50% of these cases were as a result of an outbreak in an industrial facility with 1,300 workers of which 533 have been confirmed positive.”

A total of 20 additional recoveries has been recorded putting total recoveries at 323 with death totalling 18.
