Continents in the world and their nature of education

Education is the process of imparting knowledge to others and receiving knowledge from others. Education is one of the drives to developing a country or continent. These are some continents and their systems of education.

1 . To begin with, AUSTRALIAN EDUCATION

Firstly, Australian education is amongst the best in the world. It has a comprehensive syllabus and highly qualified teachers. Attaining formal education in Australia means you will go through four stages. The early childhood education, primary education, secondary education, and tertiary education.

Education is compulsory for anyone between the ages of 6-17years. The education sector can be grouped into government,  Catholic and private schools.

In Australia, early childhood education is the first step to starting formal education in the continent and it’s for children between the ages of two to five. This stage is to help the children form friendships, exhibit their creative skills, and help them read and write.

Primary Education is from ages 6 to 11 and has its focuses on developing important literacy, numeracy, and intellectual and social-emotional skills.

The secondary school for those within 12 to 18. This stage follows the curriculum framework of the continent.

After high school, the next stage is to take an undergraduate program and complete it although it is not compulsory.

2 . Secondly, ASIAN EDUCATION

Also, the Asian education system 6-3- 2-2 structure. Normally a child starts schooling at the age of seven years. The duration of schooling at the primary level is six years. Asian education enables learners to acquire a high level of knowledge; superior performance on international comparative exams such as PISA. As well as high achievement in STEM core subject areas (science, technology, engineering, and math).

3 . Thirdly, AMERICAN EDUCATION

In America, education is provided by either the government or private institutions. The education structure starts from Early childhood education. It is followed by primary school (called elementary school in the United States) which spans from four to seven years, middle school, and secondary school (called high school in the United States). Afterward, postsecondary (tertiary) education.

4 . Finally, EUROPEAN EDUCATION

Lastly, the European education system consists of two years of early education (nursery cycle), five years of primary, and seven years of secondary education. Most European Schools want to provide a multilingual and multicultural education for nursery, primary as well as secondary level pupils.

Also, a holistic approach is used in teaching different scopes of development in the child and this builds the self-esteem of the child.
