About Role

As a Construction Management Representative (CMR), you will oversee field execution for a wide range of projects, including building demolition, site restoration, rehabilitation, new construction, utilities, paving, and waterfront works. The position involves extensive site presence and nationwide travel, with monthly living allowances provided for lodging, meals, and related expenses.

You will act as the owner’s on-site representative, managing schedules, costs, contractor performance, and safety compliance, while serving as a key liaison between clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams. Responsibilities

Manage construction schedules from project initiation through closeout
Lead on-site meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, and design teams
Review contractor work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
Approve contractor invoices and monthly requisitions
Administer change orders and support cost control efforts
Provide regular project status updates and issue reporting
Review shop drawings and construction documentation for constructability
Enforce OSHA safety requirements and quality standards
Maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders
Travel to remote project locations and support field operations nationwide

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Construction Manager, CMR, Owner’s Rep, or Superintendent
OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
Experience evaluating CPM schedules and negotiating change orders
Excellent written, verbal, and technical documentation skills
Ability to work in field environments and travel extensively
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (preferred)
Eligibility for TN visa classification (for international candidates, where applicable)
